Flow is a 100% installation-free, web browser based software. Then why would we introduce an application?

Flow Desktop App (Web App)

  • This application isn't a software like Zoom or Teams that you have to install. Instead, it is a web app. 
  • Our goal of this application is to make things easily manageable, organized, and free of browser-related issues. For instance, you could keep the application without the workload of your web browser. 
  • Once installed, you can reused it as it stays on the browser's URL box (see below).

Flow Mobile App (Web App for Android and iOS)

  • The most important aspect of this is letting hosts start and manage events on the go. Yes! With Flow mobile you can host webinars just like you do on your PC.
  • The mobile web app is essential in contract to the desktop application in this situation (for a host/presenter. You could install, and configure its microphone/webcam options and reuse it with no trouble unlike when you use the browser as browsers tend to remove permissions and do different things causing trouble. 
  • In addition, the app is also able to hide browser headers and provide more space for the viewers. 
  • Once installed, you can launch it from the list of available apps on both Android and iOS.

How do I Uninstall the Web App?

On Desktop

  1. Launch the App
  2. Click the Kebab menu at the upper right (see below)
  3. Click "Uninstall FlowApp".

On Mobile

  1. Press and hold the app icon from the list
  2. Tap the "Uninstall" option to uninstall the app.

Web App - Special Features

On PC

  1. Having its own permissions and the ability to use the same extensions with lower resources
  2. The ability to cast directly
  3. Docking anywhere you want
  4. Ease of use with picture-in-picture.

On Mobile

  1. Ease of hosting and presenting webinars (centralization)
  2. Better resource management
  3. The ability to allocate more space by eliminating toolbars and boxes
  4. Ease of permission management (microphone/webcam/notifications)
  5. Distinguishable notifications
  6. Easier to enter and exit (with a Room ID or a link).
