Using Microphone and Webcam as an Attendee

A host or a moderator grants permissions for you to speak, if they intend to, and if the feature is enabled. Otherwise, you can raise your hand in chat (use the Raise Hand button) to request permissions.
How to Enable My Devices
- Once you are granted the permissions, you will see the dialog box above
- Click OK
- Next, you will see the microphone and webcam buttons pop up on your screen.
To enable the devices,
- Click on the microphone, or webcam (this turns both devices on)
- Your browser will provide a window (popup) to ask your permissions (see below)
- Click "Allow while visiting the site"
- If the devices are still off, click on mic or webcam again to start
- Once you are on-air, you will see your name with initials (if you enabled the mic only) or the webcam footage on the left columns where you see the presenters and their webcam footages.
How to I Release the Permissions?
- A host/presenter can revoke the permissions for you
- You can turn both devices off to release permissions
- You can also reload (should take more than 5 seconds)
- If you get disconnected, it will be automatically revoked.
