Automatic Recording (Default)

Automatic Recording is enabled by default. To view the setting,
  • Click the meatball menu (...) item at the upper right corner of an event card or a webinar room
  • Go to Edit and then Settings 
  • By default your session or event has Record Webinar enabled
  • In the Webinar Room
  • As soon as you click the Start Event button in your webinar room, the recording starts
  • Once the recording starts automatically, you will see the following in the webinar room
    • Start Recording button turns Green
    • Rec (recording started) state appears at the bottom left of the main screen (see below)


    • Once you end (stop) the recording, you can create a new recording.
    • When you end the event, you can view the replay under the Past Events.

    • Manual Recording

      You can turn off the automatic recording feature stated above. If you turn it off,
      1. Start the Event by clicking the Start Event button
      2. Click the Start Recording button - make sure you see the button turning Red, and the option changes to Stop Recording
      3. Click Stop Recording button to stop the recording
      4. Start a new if you would record another.

      Features and Limitations

      • The recording length is by default 4 hours
      • The replay is an MP4 file (static) and downloadable 
      • You must share the MP4 manually to GUEST users who uses the guest password to access always-on rooms
      • The other types of users get the replay either via their access link (registration confirmation) or once logged into Flow dashboard, under the Past Events tab
      • You can create multiple recordings
      • Autoflow segments can also be recorded
      • Recordings are NOT INTERACTIVE (use Autoflow instead - Know How)

      Accessing the Recordings

      Section 1: Accessing Recordings as a Host  

      To access a recording or a Replay, 
      1. While on Flow dashboard, click the Past Events tab
      2. Find the event card and click Replay.

      Section 2: How does a Registered User Accesses it (Always-on Rooms)

      The user is able to log into Flow dashboard similar to a host, and view the replays in the Past Events section.
      1. While on the Flow dashboard, logged in, click Past Events
      2. Find the event card of the event that you want to view
      3. Click Replay.

      Section 3: How does an Event Registrant Access It?  

      An event registrant can use the same registration confirmation link to access the replay at the end of the event.

      Section 4: How does a Non-registrant Access It? 

      Share the event registration link with them, even after the webinar is over. To get the link after the event, while in the Flow dashboard,
      1. Click Past Events tab
      2. Find the event and click the meatball menu icon on the upper right (...)
      3. Click Summary
      4. Verify the replay is there (one or more can be there if you record more than one)
      5. Obtain the registration link and share it with the non-registrant.

      How to View Multiple Recordings in a Single Event 

      • Admin/Registered Users: The recordings are in the event cards under the Past Events tab (Click the Replay button in the event card)
      • Host/Presenter/Event Registrant/Late Registrant: Use the event registration confirmation link.
