Screen Sharing with your audience

Flow Screen Sharing DOES NOT SUPPORT REGION SELECTION.
The Screen Sharing content block is used to present your desktop view from one of your monitors or a specific application window to your audience.

Step 1: Start Sharing?

Legacy Interface

New Interface
- Click the Screen Sharing option at the bottom left of the webinar room (legacy interface), or click the screen sharing button on the toolbar (new interface).
- Select from the following options (Chrome/MS Edge): See the "Chrome Selector" image below
- Chrome Tab: A browser tab can be shared. THIS ALSO SUPPORTS SHARING AUDIO
- Window: Share an application window (such as a chart, an Office Spreadsheet, or PowerPoint)
- Entire Screen: Select a monitor to share. THIS ALSO SUPPORTS SHARING BACKGROUND AUDIO
- Select the following options (Firefox, Safari, and others): See the "Firefox Selector" image below
- Window: Select an application window
- Screen: Select a monitor
- Select the appropriate option and click the Share button
- When you click Share, the browser shows the following status, indicating that you started sharing. See the "Upon a Successful Start" image below

Step 2: Share the Screen with the Audience
- Add a Screen Sharing Content Block to your Storyboard
- Click the "+" Card in the Storyboard
- Select the Screen Sharing item
- Click Next
- Select the host/presenter to assign to the block and click Next
- Select the Countdown timer checkbox on the next screen (optional)
- Click the "Add to Storyboard" button to finish.
- Once you have added the storyboard block, click (play) it to share the screen with the audience. Note that you can start Step 1 (above) before or start it later (after this step).
Step 3: Preview
You can view a preview of what you are sharing or hide it ...

Step 4: Multiple Presenters
If there are multiple presenters, you can,
- Add multiple storyboard items for each
- Have them started the screen at once
- Click (play) each storyboard item (block) to show each person's screen.
Step 5: Ending
- To stop what you share, click the Stop Sharing button at the upper left of your web browser (Chrome) or Stop Sharing button at the top-center (Firefox).
- To stop streaming it to the audience, you can change the screen share storyboard block by playing the next block.
Can I Share PowerPoint or YouTube
Troubleshooting MacOS
On Macs, your screen may not be visible even if you share it. This is a problem with the system permissions.
