How to use on-air and off-air with your event

With AV Control (AV Remote Control), you can bring a presenter on or off air.
On-air and Off-air
On-air: The presenter's audio and video streams as well as screen sharing are visible to the audience
Off-air: The presenter's audio and video streams as well as screen sharing are NOT visible to the audience.
How do I bring Someone On-air?
As a host,
- Click the AV Controls on the left column or on the toolbar (new interface)
- If someone is On-air, the av box turns Teal Blue color, so as the ON-AIR button. If it is not already on, click the ON AIR button
- To bring someone OFF AIR, click the Teal Blue colored ON AIR button.
💡Pro Tip
- Simply assign someone to the storyboard block during setup so as soon as you play the segment, it automatically brings the presenter(s) ON AIR.
- If someone is screen sharing (you can only assign one person to this block) and if you wish to bring another presenter(s) online, you can use this option.
- If someone is having technical issues quickly bring the person OFF AIR, troubleshoot, and then bring ON AIR.
Coaching Mode
Hosts can speak without audience hearing or seeing them while OFF AIR. This is great if you coach new presenters!
