The Slides Content Block allows you to upload static slide content to your Webinar Environment to use during your webinars. It keeps a library of uploaded slides, and you can select one or more with multiple slides as a single or multiple storyboard item blocks.

Supported File Formats and Sizes

Formats:
  • Presentation Files (.ppt, .pptx, .key)
  • PDFs
  • Word Documents (.doc, .docx)
  • Excel files (.xls, .xlsx)
  • Picture files (.jpg, .png, .gif)
Size: 50 MB or less
Number of Slides: 250 or fewer than 250. If it is larger, divide it into multiple segments.

Adding a Slideshow

To add a Slides Content Block to your Storyboard,
  1. Click the red "+" with Add Content Block in the Storyboard, select the Slides item, then click Next
  2. To add a new file to the Content Block, click the "+" with the New Slide: This will open a file explorer where you can choose your file. Once the file is chosen, it will be uploaded and converted for use in your webinar.

Once you add the slide, it will be saved to a library of slides...

Next Steps

  1. Select the Slide that you uploaded and click Next
  2. Select the presenter that you want to assign the block to and click Next
    • You can assign it to multiple presenters if it is required.
    • As soon as you play this block during the webinar, the assigned presenters will be ON-AIR automatically
    • If they enable their devices, they will be heard and seen.
    • If someone wants to start ahead while others take over later, keep their devices off. Once the 1st presenter ends, let him turn off the devices, and the other turns on his devices next, and carry on.
  3. Select additional options from a list and click ADD TO STORYBOARD to finish. See the list of additional options available below.

Additional Options

  • Display a count-down for presenters: Sets a timer that is shown in the Slides controls
  • Display an announcement: Enter text here to show as an announcement pop-up at the bottom of the screen. This will display on the specified slide for the set amount of time
  • Allow attendees to download a PDF copy: Checking this will activate a small download button to appear at the bottom left of your slide content, allowing all participants to download a PDF copy of the slides while the Content Block is active.
  • Shorten slide deck: Checking this option allows you to load only a selected portion of the entire deck into the Content Block.

Additional Actions on Slides

Once the file is uploaded and converted, you will see it in the list of available items.
  1. Preview: See the slideshow before selecting it
  2. Download PDF: Download the slideshow to your computer/mobile device as a PDF
  3. Delete: Deletes the slide (file itself).
