Preparation and Loading
Always load your slide show into your room well ahead of time to review the conversion and layout.
- Single-Focus Slides: Use only one major idea per slide to ensure your audience stays focused on your spoken message.
- Visual Simplicity: Keep the design simple and easy to understand; slides should support you, not stand on their own.
For maximum readability on various attendee screen sizes:
- Contrast: Use a dark font on a light background.
- Font Size: Use a simple, large font with limited text.
- Impact: Use text only to outline key points; you want your audience to listen to your presentation rather than read it.
- Illustrations: Use simple pictures or graphics to illustrate points instead of large amounts of raw data.
- Focus: Use small animations sparingly to direct the audience's attention to specific elements.
Certain complex elements may cause issues when uploaded directly. If your presentation includes these, convert the specific slide to a static image (JPEG or PNG) before uploading:
- Embedded Media: Embedded audio or video files.
- Complex Objects: Embedded spreadsheets or slides with more than 50 individual objects.
- Text Effects: Specialized formatting like strike-through text.
