You can manage your local hardware and online presence directly from the media control panel. This panel allows you to configure your microphone, webcam, volume levels, and current status.

Setting Your Online Status and Mood

You can update your presence to communicate with the presenter and other attendees without using the chat. The "Mood" or "Status" selector is at the bottom left (left most icon)
  • Status Options: Change your status to "Away," "Agreed," or "Disagreed."
  • Moods: Select a mood to let others know how you are feeling during the presentation.

Phone or PC Audio Playback

Webinato supported both phone and PC audio output and you could switch back to either during a live event. Currently phone audio is no longer supported.

Adjusting the Playback Volume

Use the Speaker icon to manage how you hear others in the room.

  • Personal Volume: This only adjusts the volume level for your local speakers.
  • Slider Control: Use the integrated slider to find your preferred audio level.

Managing Audio (Microphone)

  1. The Microphone icon at the bottom left panel allows you to control your voice input during the session.
  2. The Webcam icon allows you to enable and disable your webcam and live video footage.

    • Toggle Power: Click the icon to turn your microphone/webcam with microphone on or off.
    • Configure Device: Access advanced settings (hover over either mic or webcam buttons to see the settings gear) to select your specific hardware.
    • Input Level: Increase or decrease your microphone's output volume directly from this menu.

A/V Remote Control

With AV Remote Control, you can
  • Remotely enable audio and video devices: Adjust microphone volume and image quality of the webcam, for Presenters.
  • Consent Required: This does not automatically configure the devices due to privacy concerns. The presenter has to accept your remote request on his/her end.

This tool is the right most button on the toolbar.
